In term 3 5H read a book called Chinese Cinderella. This book is about a little Chinese girl in the 1940s (China) called Adeline Mah and the Author of the book was herself but married.

Adeline didn't know her mother because her mother died when she was born. Adeline had Brothers and Sisters and they were not so good with Adeline. Adeline started to start school when she was five years old and she had to walk to school alby herself.

On a day Adeline and her Brothers and Sisters got a pet duck. Adeline called hers PLT. On day PLT died. One day Adeline won a class president and she and her friend had a party but before they could cut the cake Adeline went home. When she got there her step mother slaped her on the face.

One day Adeline got a letter from her Aunt and the letter told Adeline all about the Chinese Cinderella.

"Chinee Cinderella" is a harh story to Chinese girls aspeechely Adeline because she had to go with a hard time when she was a little girl.

Auther: Adeline Yen Mah
Book: Chinese Cindarella

This book that we read in term 3 was about a girl called Adeline Yen Mah she wrote this book when she was older about her life when she was a child.

Adeline's father did'nt like his child Adeline because when Adeline was born her mother died, so Adeline never new her mother. The only family member that really liked Adeline was her Aunt Barba who was kind to Adeline.

Adeline had a pet called PLT short for presice little trusure one day PLT died Adeline was extremely sad after PLT had died.

Adeline was very bright she had won class president and had many friends. But the only person in her family who cared about her report cards and acheviments was her Aunt Barba who was proud of Adeline. Adelines friends were very nice to her and organised a party for her Adeline was having a great time until she went home and was slapped in the face by her mean step mother.

Then Adeline went to a bording school when she was there her father and step mother did'nt visit her much until her Grandfather died.

One day Adeline got a letter from her Aunt and it tolded Adeline all about Chinese Cindeella

I liked Chinese Cindrella because it taught me more about what it was like in China.
